Privacy Policy

Saguaro is designed to collect as little as possible.

• License key. Generated when you sign up or buy. Stored in your macOS Keychain.
• Email address (optional). Only collected if you provide one at signup or checkout, so we can send you your license key and receipts.
• Usage counts. The number of characters you have synthesized into audio, so we can enforce trial limits and bill subscribers accurately. We do not store the text itself after it is read aloud.
• Stripe customer + subscription IDs. Required to manage your subscription.

• The text you highlight. It passes through our backend in transit to the voice service, but we do not log or persist it.
• Audio recordings. Generated audio is streamed to your Mac and not retained server-side.
• Your browsing history, screen contents, keystrokes, or anything outside what you explicitly highlight and submit.

• Hume AI receives the text you submit for speech synthesis.
• Anthropic receives short chunks of that text for preprocessing (acronyms, numbers, abbreviations).
• Stripe processes payments and stores billing information.
• Cloudflare hosts our backend and stores license + usage data.
• Resend delivers transactional email (license keys, receipts).

Email hello@saguaro.app to request:

• A copy of the data we have associated with your email or license.
• Deletion of your account, license, and email.
• To cancel your subscription (you can also do this in Settings → Account).

If we materially change how Saguaro handles data, we will email active subscribers and update this page.
