Terms of Service

Saguaro is a macOS application that reads text aloud using AI voice synthesis. It is provided by AI West LLC ("we", "us").

Saguaro issues you a license key on first launch. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Trial usage is capped at twenty thousand characters of audio. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service.

You agree not to:

• Use Saguaro to generate audio that violates anyone's rights or any applicable law.
• Resell or redistribute generated audio commercially without separate permission from the underlying voice provider.
• Share, transfer, or sublicense your license key. One license per user.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the backend, including by farming free trials.

We may revoke a license at any time for material violation of these terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Account in the Saguaro app. Your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing period after cancellation.

We offer prorated refunds within the first seven days of a new subscription if the service does not work for you. Reach out to hello@saguaro.app.

Saguaro is provided "as is". AI voices may occasionally mispronounce, misread, or otherwise produce imperfect audio. We do not guarantee fitness for any particular purpose. Use the output at your own discretion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Saguaro is capped at the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will email active subscribers and update this page.
